Overview
This A Level Chemistry Course will cover the full AQA specification, developing essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of the subject and how they relate to each other. It will also improve and demonstrate a deep appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of scientific methods. This course overall will nurture a passion for Chemistry and lay the groundwork for further study in courses like chemistry, medicine and pharmacy at University or to progress in work at work.

Pre-requisites
You are expected to have a knowledge of chemistry up to a good GCSE standard.
This means a grade B or above in 2017 and earlier or Grade 5 and above in 2018 or later. In either case, it is expected that the student took the higher tier.

Please note that the AS course may be separately examined and marks from the AS exam are no longer carried forward to the final A level grade. However, it is useful for students to have examination practice, and to assess the progress of their learning and ability.
